What’s underneath all that beauty?
Something much more appealing… my heart! Hehe! I’m such a down to earth, fun-loving person. I’m all about staying positive and trying to see the up-side of things. I care deeply for the people in my life and try to make every experience enjoyable.
With the numerous hats you wear, what does a typical day look like for you?
Actually, things aren’t all that hectic for me. I’ve done a pretty good job of balancing it all. Depending on what work needs to be done.. I focus on that. Usually I wake up and get my personal website updates completed. From there, I start on other tasks at hand and focus on the other businesses I’m a part of.
How old were you when you got your start in the industry?
19. I was approached to do a website of my own and it all sort of snowballed from that point. Doing a little more and more each year. Once I was published in Playboy Special Editions I decided to step up my level of naughtiness for my website’s paying customers. After that… I was published in almost all of the other adult men’s magazines and my “naughtiness” sort of took on a life of it’s own. J
Why did you decide you only wanted to work with girls?
In the adult industry it’s actually considered to be much more “hardcore” to have sex with men on film, rather than women. Plus, I’m just not the type of girl that wants to show up to a set and have sex with random guys I don’t know. Working with girls was natural for me and felt comfortable. It started as just playful photoshoots with my friends… and slowly graduated into full on sex scenes for my website and my then production company, Femme Fusion. To this day… I have only worked for a couple other companies. I’ve kept my value in this industry by not spreading myself too thin and not working with other people who wanted to hire me.
What’s the worst job you’ve had?
The worst job I’ve ever had was being a bus girl at a restaurant when I was 16. I hated it! Hahaha! I came home achy from lifting the dishes all night, and smelled like food. Uuuhg… I’m such a girl! Haha!
How did you get involved with Radii?
A friend of mine, James introduced me to Casey one night… actually at Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory party. I obviously admired Casey’s business sense and was happy when he asked me if I’d shoot for his company! I jumped at the opportunity!
What was it like working with photographer Tyler Shields?
It’s interesting…. Because Casey mentioned Tyler would be shooting it and sent me the link to Tyler’s website originally. But we planned it early on… like a month in advance or so. I actually never thought to go back and click Tyler’s website link to see what he was all about.
I’ve been shooting for sooo many years it’s always interesting meeting new photographers. I’ve met some of the sweetest people I know that shoot… and some of the cockiest people I know that shoot. So, needless to say… I didn’t know what to expect from Tyler. I walked in to his place and immediately felt good energy surrounding Tyler and all of his helpers. The whole shoot was a blast! We all had the same kind of humor and cracked jokes throughout the entire shoot. I had such a good time. It didn’t even feel like work to me.!
Do you ever get nervous or uncomfortable on the job?
Typically I’m only working for my company or a close friend’s company. So no. I don’t put myself into situations where I wouldn’t be in control. I know better than to do that. Too many weirdos out there. Heheh! As far as being nervous with the nudity level… I’m used to that too. Been doing this for over 10 years now. It takes a lot to make me uncomfortable!
You have your own flipflop company, how did you get into that?
I do! MiaBellaFlops.com I’m an artsy-creative person and for the last 10 years I’ve been getting my creative “fix” through doing website design. It’s been fun, and I love being a computer geek… but I wanted something more hands on. It all basically stemmed from me wanting to make lil gifts for friends and now it’s a full on business.
What do you do when you have free time?
I love using my free time to play with my dogs, reading, baking, or going to the beach to relax.
What’s your favorite movie?
Hmmm…. Not sure I can name just one. I love ALL kinds of movies really. I’ve probably watched Step Brothers more than any other movie though. Heheh!
